Just had yet another great meeting with some fantastic clients in downtown Charlottetown this afternoon. We are planning their urban chic wedding for October of this year. It is going to be an event to remember!! Their colours of choice: Tiffany blue and chocolate brown. So sweet! :)

Happy Earth Day!

In honour of Earth Day, here are some sweet eco friendly wedding ideas!

Wedding Season Is Upon Us!

I spent the day yesterday with a fantastic couple in Miramichi, NB. They traveled from Hamilton, ON and I journeyed from PEI to enjoy a "planning day" in northern NB together. I had only ever driven through the city so it was nice to be in the thick of it. It's such a beautiful place, sitting right on the water with stunning homes and a peculiar "one way" downtown street. Yes I said street.

We spent the first portion of the day at a flower shop, choosing floral themes, colours and designs. Then we were off to an adorable old Irish pub where we nibbled on a few treats and tried some cake & cake pops which I brought with me from PEI courtesy of Cityview Bakehouse. Needless to say, that was a huge hit!!

We then walked over to The Rodd Miramichi & the beautiful property next to it where the reception and ceremony will be held respectively. The views were stunning right on the water at the base of the bridge. The couple and their crew tried the delicious food, planned out the layout for the dinner, saw the suites available at the hotel and mapped out decor for the evening.

These are the kinds of days I love, getting out to meet and spend time with my clients and their families. It was so wonderful. It's always nice to spend time with people who you feel you have known for ages! September can't come soon enough for this amazing day!!

In keeping with the colours scheme for this wedding, here are a few photos in the theme they have chosen. :)
